It only counts as a single round of the British National Asphalt Championship though - despite the National Rally following the same itinerary as the International event.

Have a great time out on the stages those who are venturing out this weekend. Thanks to those who sent me information however due to a number of reasons what was always going to be a late in the day decision to go or not was made for me by other parties!
Shame not to be able to see Paddon one last time if his plans are to not come back to Europe however hope there is a big battle and that the event can build on this year which will result in more ERC crews in future.
Jason Pritchard & Elliot Payne have withdrawn.
Pritchard i think is having issues registering his new Yaris.
The ERC regulars show their speed on the Qualifying stage...

Pryce's car new livery was designed by a 12-year-old boy. He will also focus on the British championship points:

Coverage so far on the BBC has been positive! Guessing the local news service may have a camera or to out over the weekend.
creighton and cronin are the guys fighting with ingram for the british title, right? pryce not so much, if i remember correctly. thats going to be a cool 'second' fight to watch - after paddon / franceschi (not sure marczyk can do anything right now. he would have to win these 2 rounds with paddon and franceschi basically not scoring points)
interesting rally ahead! nice
btw (random thoughts) these roads are so beautiful. do you fellas follow those "king of the roads" races? (ullster, cookstown, 'north west' 200), its like superbikes racing on that type of road. its sooo much more intense than motogp, for example.
incredible stuff. i should follow it more closely
The Rally of Wales was on the 1994 ERC calendar Was on the same weekend as Gran Canaria and 3 or 4 other rounds so guess that slipped us all by!
Irish road racing and the TT/Manx GP are a league apart from circuit motorcycle racing but we only have Olivers Mount in Nth Yorkshire and a park in Wales at the moment that are similar on the UK mainland. I follow as my dad was a biker so its in the blood sort of but just watching the races scares me senseless!
