I think something is still wrong. Looking at it quick Stout, Haastalavista, Loco American, and Lakka all have excess points still. Truefan and Taz look right, but I haven't done any looking beyond that.


Neither of my drivers scored points, and with two Ferrari cars (engine and chassis) I should have:

Seb 4th (12 points) and Leclerc 5th (10 points) 12+10=22 22 x 2 = 44

My race sucked for a bonus GP. I'd take the points, but that would be unsporting. And I hate to bring the other scores down with mine, but fair is fair people.... Taz and Truefan kicked all our butts except for Starter! And it might mess with scores through the year.


I'm short on time, but think there is something still wacky in the spreadsheet. And like I said above, I'm not complaining.... I'm glad you go through all of this to bring us FGP. If you want a second set of eyes to look at the spreadsheet and help figure it out I'll make the time.

Those four team have Australia as their bonus, hence the doubling of points.

No, with Ferrari as your car you scored 30. 15 for being the third chassis and 15 for being the third engine. Double that is 60.

Remember - it's the first car to cross the line that scores the points. Since Vettel crossed first Ferrari gets 15.
Here's how the points are calculated:

1. Mercedes - 25
2. Mercedes - 0 because the first one already crossed the finish line.
3. Red Bull - 18
4. Ferrari - 15
5. Ferrari - 0 because the first one already crossed the finish line.

I realized that I counted my team wrong after I posted and left for work.

What I didn't realize was that you "skipped" when there were a pair of any teams cars. So I thought that if the first Ferrari finished 4th, it was only 12 points. No wonder I haven't won the FGP yet, I'm just now figuring out how it works! :laugh:

Picking the first race as the bonus race was genius! That's the only way (and time) I'm going to be in the lead this year.

Good thing that only three of us picked the season opener as the bonus GP. Otherwise I probably wouldn't have made it on the podium!
