So it's a problem of drivers, not the cars. If the drivers like Cerny, Lefebvre, Immonen were driving S1600 cars, they would have been even faster :)

You are right, but not so many drivers could afford S1600 cars so the level of competition would be lower and we would end up watching 2 or 3 drivers fighting for victory and a bunch of gentleman drivers who aren't attractive at all. :)

Kevin Demaerschalk had engine problems and retired early in Wallonie, no need to compare the Fiesta R2 with the 208 R2 either (it's like comparing a GrN and GrA car). For me he is one of the favorites in the R2-class in Ypres, if anyone can beat Lefebvre (who is probably a future WRC-star).
