I read a rumor that we would be able to download facsimile set-ups of the real drivers and apply them to the cars. Has this been officially confirmed?
Then they would have to change the whole setup system in the game. At least if it is the same as in the two previous games. There were only bars to move to the left and right without any further information. If so, I guess they would have to do something like Richard Burns rally?
No official word about those rumors Plan9. But I don't think we'll see anything like that (just like the rumors regarding i-Opener technology...)
Wasn't the i-Opener technology supposed to be included in WRC 2 originally? Now they aren't planning it for WRC 3 either?
Indeed. But I think they have already abandoned It...Quote:

Hey I managed to Login successfully :D
I BOUGHT the WRC2 game! My first since Rally Evolved back in 2005.
So where's the WRC2 thread gone? Come to think of it, where are any older threads...?
I'm not a patch on the driver I used to be, but is it me, or is the difficulty (when on Max difficulty) actually pretty high? I didn't do "Road to the WRC"; I went straight into a full WRC season, and found myself finishing last almost every time.
I'm not complaining - I've done 2 full WRC seasons and pretty much 2 PWRC seasons. So I'm in my 3rd WRC season and still nowhere near the title. Gained 4 points finishes only in first 9 rallies! I always felt the PS2 games were too easy. :)
Hi rjbetty, good to see you in here. The registration can be tricky at times.
Yes the difficult levels in WRC2 are high. I have to run about 3 clicks down from top to be competitive, but its nice because you can learn and get quicker and still have tough AI. Yes the PS2 games were too easy in the end.
Incidentially, I set it on 90% difficulty and I manage to scrape into a title using Dani. Bloody hard though as I win Mex, Portugal and 3 or so others later in the season. Powerstages can also be useful to keep me in the hunt. This is for WRC2. I actually like the PS2 games better as there are more events per season and all the cars I love from the pre-s2000 wrc era.
What are do you guys use to get you to the top of the table?
Why did you find PS2 era games easier? they had no flash backs for instance...Quote:
