The man has managed to single handedly ground England's WC2018 plans, pretty much before they were released.Quote:

Yeah the press were stupid, shouting from the rooftops that he'd said it and then complaining that it ruined the bid chance. However he shouldn't have said it in the first place, the press shouldn't have been able to report it.Quote:

Unless they play a 4-3-3 like Barcelona, this may be a problem if Torres isn't fit enough to start the first game. Lots of exciting players on the wing - Pedro, Mata, Navas.
Another problem could be the defensive mid-fielder, Busquets being the only real one in the 23, what happens if he is injured? I don't trust him too much in the Barca squad either (he falls too often for his role and play acts too unlike guys like Toure or Mascherano)
Italy at 28 now and pino may not be happy, Grosso is out of the squad too.
Why is Camoranesi still in the team? That midfield doesn't look too great though, luckily Ambrosini is gone. (What happened to the Giovinco guy pino?)
3 weeks :bounce: :bounce:

Stupid Lippi ignored young players like Antonini, Abate, and veteran player like Ambrosini and Perrotta in great form, not to mention Italy's biggest talent Cassano. Unfortunatelly Giovinco didn't play match at Juve so I agree with Lippi on that. I still don't have faith in this squad, and I will be very surprised to see them reach the 1/4 finals :s
Btw judging by the votes on the poll, it will be a final between Brazil and Spain...
I'm willing to bet my sig with anyone that neither of those teams actually reach the final.Quote:
