The story
Day1
Gross went to lead the rally. Tänak also one one stage on Day 1 and the difference was not too big. Koitla broke his gearbox on SS2 and repaired it in the stage (lost 13 minutes), Aus lost some time when benting his rear wheel on the city stage and getting some time penalties in service while fixing it. Kangur jumped too far on SS2 and had some problems with the car for the rest of the day.
Day2
Started with the most difficult stages. One of them was almost new stage (SS5) as well. It is very narrow, fast with a lot of rythm changes. Tänak won those two stages and took nearly 20 seconds lead in front of Gross who was complaining on early morning wake-up problems (Tänak effort is clearly visible, you can see that sponsor sticers on the front bumper are worn out). Kaur was doing second fastest times and climbed to second place. Kõrge had some central diff problems. Gross started to take back time on the second passes and before the last stage he was still 4.4 seconds behind Tänak. Both put their maximum on the last stage and Gross won the rally by just 2 seconds - he managed to wake up and use the potential of his car. However, Tänak told that he has no regrets. There wasnt any places on the rally route where he could have taken these 2 seconds.
Meanwhile, Kaur had a puncture in SS8 (re-run of SS6) and he dropped to fourth. Kangur had problems with his confidence and everything. Plangi had one nasty Spin.
The final result is that Tänak/Järveoja are Estonian N4 Champions (while taking part in four out of 6 events in Estonian Championship), Pärn/Järveoja are Estonian 2WD champions after the rally. Gross won all the rallies in 2013 season and became overall champion, OT Racing is Estonian champion in team contest.
