Very often they are, sometimes even more bumpy. There are some rallies with generally smoother roads (Bohemia for example) and others with very bumpy and worn asphalt or even macadam (Barum for example).Quote:

Tarabus out on SS1 with broken prop-shaft.
Pech broke a chicane on SS2 and lost some time. He will take a penalty for that most likely. His only chance for title is to ddefeat Kopecký and wait for him to make something stupid.
Can Tarabus be still surpassed in Czech championship by Odlozilik?Quote:

Bad news don't stop to come...
Young co-driver Jan Jinderle (22) died during an accident of Fabia R2 No.37 on stage 2 of Rally P?íbram. Driver Ji?í Máša shall be unhurt. The rally was canceled immediately.
R.I.P. and condolences to family and friends from Jan Jinderle ;(
Terrible news again, R.I.P. and my condolences to his family and friends.
And I wondered why no times for SS 3 appeared on rallybase ...
My condolences to family, friends and Team :(
I saw short video in Czech website after crash, car looks bad, I think they hit tree :(
Very very sad news. I think there is a curse in a Czech Republic :(
R.I.P. Jan Jinderle jr. :( Another very bad weekend for rallying.

R.I.P. Jan Jinderle :( ;(
Very good entry list for Rally Vsetín, last round of Rallysprint championship which is going to take place next weekend.

Finally some GREAT news :)
Miroslav Jakeš will drive Citroën DS3 R5 in the international Czech championship (except Jänner). He will also appear with it in three asphalt Austrian events (shall be some close to Wienna because the main sponsor eye clinic Gemini is interested in that). He signed an agreement with the main sponsor for four years.
Great news indeed!! I´m happy for Mirek Jakeš - hope he could do some other International outings also...
Fantastic :)Quote:

SS1 starts at 8:38
Mirek Jakeš won again! He was in the lead since the first stage. When his only opponent Grzyb retired with broken engine it was all clear. Nevertheless the new sprint champion is Odložilík. Jakeš had more points from all starts but as two worst results are nulled Jakeš lost it to Odložilík who had better car (Xsara WRC and Fabia S2000).
1. Jakeš (Evo IX half-R4) 40:58,3
2. Odložilík (Fabia S2000) +29,5
3. Sýkora (Fiesta R5) +35,9
4. Cvr?ek (Fabia S2000) +56,2
5. Dohnal (207 S2000) +57,6
6. Tlus?ák (Fabia S2000) +1:29,4
7. Adolf (Fabia S2000) +1:33,8
8. B?ezík (Evo IX N4) +1:42,1
9. Pešl (Evo IX N4) +1:50,1
10. Trnovec (Fabia S2000) +1:51,0
Major retirements: Grzyb (Fabia S2000) - engine, Tomaštík (Impreza WRC S7) - engine. Trn?ný (Fabia WRC) changed wheel on one stage from 6th place. By the way 86 crews finished!
Here a great onboard of Jakeš from SS1. It's part of well known Barum stage Semetín, very dirty. Jakeš took a major lead already there :vader:

Both stages are also very hard and narrow (second onboard of Jakeš is the same stage as SS2 but second run). Later Sýkora was clearly faster than Odložilík and was closing to him in every stage. On the other hand Odložilík could finish even third to be champion. In my opinion Sýkora is better driver than Odložilík but Jakeš is better than both.
SS1 is part of Barum rally stage Semetín and both Kostka and Valoušek were totally of the pace there during Barum rally as well. I think that it will take some time to set Fiesta R5 properly for typical stages in this area. With Fiesta S2000 it took a long time as well when Tarabus was driving one of Prokop's team. Last year Flodin with Fiesta S2000 from Petter Solberg's team was also off the pace and in my opinion it had also a lot to do with setup.
Probably in not bumpy tarmac And in gravel the car would be better from the begining...Quote:

I have a question to the czech forum members. Will the results of the national elections have influence of the future of rallysport in the CR?
I don't think there would be any direct impact on rallysport. The only thing I can say for sure now is that from these results no stable government can be created unless some parties change their pre-ellection stances. Let's see what comes out of this mess.
Some info about Setkaní Mistr? in Sosnová circuit.
http://www.rally-mania.cz/news.php?id=15171
Interesting info: Š.Vojt?ch with Fiesta WRC and Rally Dakar vehicle will be included
I be there for both days.
Info for Tom: Daniel Zp?vák bought Peugeot 208 R2 of Jan ?erný. He drove the car already in Vsetín and won class 6 there (4th in 2WD).
There must come question: Whats the plan of Jan ?erný? i dont except his sitting and waiting for the delayed Peugeot R5.
It's just one MM?R event which he would need to skip and as far as I heard plenty of Czech drivers want to skip Jänner anyway - because of the date.

Any news on Prague Rallysprint? Is it going to happen? And if yes it is Sat 30 Nov. ?
Yes, 30th November but it will be held only on Chuchle hypodrome. I'm not going there even it is 10 km from my home.
Actually I'll be in Prague these days for short vacations and it would be great to see some Czech Rallying for first time. I also don't like these kind of events but I am going to be there so ... :) Also I will not have a car so I will need help with how to get there.
Aha, it's easy as there is a bus stop directly at the hypodrome. The name of the stop is "Zavodiste chuchle".
Here is a link for searching Prague public transport connections: http://www.dpp.cz/en/ You need to place there names of stops or stations. Those You can find for example in google map of Prague.
If You need any help, let me know. I have been living in Prague for eight years so I can give You some hints.
Thanks Mirek any help is more than welcome!!!! :)
