So will the Peugeot strategy work out better, more testing inhouse before homologation vs MSport testing with the customers?
Also the first Fiesta R5 has been delivered to Italy!

I think that Wilson has made a good deal. So many people want R5 cars today and the only option at the moment is Fiesta.. and for a long period. That means, he can fill the market with huge number of cars, get a lot of feedback and later rebuild some engines etc. Peugeot importers are of course buying and supporting Peugeots but those who are not supported by local dealers are already ordering Fiestas..
I hope that R5 becomes really very popular and there is room for all the car makes.Kruuda and Kangur were mostly very spectacular in Rally Estonia with these new cars. So, I would be happy if I can see more of those on the stages.
Remember how many Fiat Punto S2000's were sold? From 2009 on they disappeared very quickly. Could be the same case for the Fiesta R5. First on the market, also means that all others can "spy" on your product and make theirs better. Skoda was one of the last with a S2000 cars, but commercially they had the best project I think (most return for the manufacturers, and a lot of cars sold).
If Fiesta R5 will disappear after 2015 it isnīt Malcolm Wilsonīs problem. He is businessman and he will be successfull also with this strategy.
