What an embarrassment for Brazil :s
They could have spared themselves this public anal seeing-to by dropping out in the group stages as they should have with such a shambolic team. They make England look good...
haha 3-0
Yees !!!
and there is your dagger, folks...
:s :s :s
Italy's Serie B squads, have a better defense than this Brazil...
10-1 in two games. You'd expect that from San Marino...
extra security on the bridges. Don't want people jumping...
Vorm going to get a real sense of achievement here. :dozey:
Thanks God, it is over !
So, Ruud is getting the assistant coaching job for the Dutch team. Congrats.:)
Many people think there is no point in 3rd place games, but I personally enjoy them. Often these games are interesting, because teams care less and take more risks, hence entertainment! I remember Germany-Uruguay 3rd place match in 2010 was exciting, it ended with 3-2!
But yeah, Brazil's defence is absolute rubbish. Whenever Netherlands got past the midfield near to the Brazil's goal, there was always room and danger. Just their passes and co-operation wasn't quite a match to Germany to capitalize with so many goals, but still enough to win this game comfortably.
Tomorrow I want to see what the so far strong Argentina's defence can do against Germany's very organized and multi-talented (with several good strikers) attack. And also if Germany's defence can also effectively neutralize Messi (and di Maria if he re-appears) like Netherlands did. On paper Germany is favourite and I hope they win, but in football you never know what can happen... Argentina's defence should be from quite a different class from Brazil's at the very least.
Germany's team work very much reminds some of the best teams I have seen in action, be it Brazil in 2002 or Spain in previous tournaments.
Brazil in their poorest state would still thrash England lol

Neymar must be one hell of a player.
With him they won games to reach a Semi Final, with out him lost 10-1 in their last two games?????
I don't think Neymar really has that much influence, one player never makes such a mountain of difference. I mean Neymar is a forward, how would he help the hopeless Brazilian defence?
I think the more likely reason is that Brazil's defence in particularly got badly shown up by top teams. Chile and Colombia aren't probably really a match to Germany and Netherlands and when Brazil met rivals from higher class, their deficiencies got badly exposed.
I remember watching the Chile-Brazil game. Brazil already there was pretty unconvincing and were a bit fortunate to get through as Chile looked like at least a match to them in every way.
Miranda was great this year at Atletico but this wasn't enough to get in this Brazil.
Scolari got Luis, Silva and Dante :dozey:
Going to bed now for the 5am start. I'm expecting Argentina to stomp on the German attack, and somehow nut out a goal. 1-0 to Argentina.
I've already lost interest in the final. I love Argentina to bits but I don't think they deserve to win tonight, their matches were a total boredom - no wonder I always slept during the second half.
Eventually I'll support them but I won't be happy if they win. :s
At least for the first time I'll watch a match without passion. Usually I'm so passionate that I fear to watch and either switch the channel or leave the room and just listern to the comments.
Forza Germania !!! :D
We'll see! ;)
But you will wake up for extra time!:snore:
