That's nothing new in RMC and believe me that shakedown is the most controlled of the whole rally. It's the only stage where marshals are present over whole length. Otherwise there are even kilometers without them.

I think that there will not be too much fresh snow that might be bad for the first starters, but it can be compacted and get worse in some locations. Also I expect a lot of ice on SS1/3, because it was up to +1 there today and it will be as low as -3 overnight.. so.. the result should be icy.
So, I expect fisrt stage will be for studded tires, second stage with 2 studded and 2 snow as there might be much more snow as well.
