Wow! That's quick! So already in April we should see the first-ever four-wheel drive rally car built by Renault. I hope it will be as successful as their FWD cars!
Like this one for example ;)

Clio homologated 1 April it says, so not much than coursecar duty before that.
Very much looking forward to the first rally where we will see the Fiesta and the Clio head to head, to spot the strengths and weaknesses between them.
Personally i like the sounds of the Clio more than the 3cyl Fiesta, since it seems to rev higher. But no joy in that if the Fiesta is quicker. We just have to wait, and discuss here :D
Nice details from Yann Paranthoën, chief engineer of Renault Customer Racing, speaking to DirtFish:

Paralell topic as in Rally2 thread
Checked Rally3 Fiesta price when it came, prices might have changed
Rally ready car in either Gravel or Asphalt config 99 900 euro
VIN number registration 10 000 euro
Gravel or Asphalt conversion kit 10 000 euro
total 120 000
Normal equipment/ spares package chosen by most drivers/teams 10 000-30 000 euro
In grand total 130 to 150 000 euro
So aprox 50% of a Rally2 car, with same equipment.
... and it was going to replace group N cars. Will it ever happen?
How much was a top notch WRX or Evo in the end, also with R4 spec?
