A big thank you to all of you for your warm messages!
As you can imagine, I am extremely happy to win this Condroz Rally for the second time in a row, all while discovering the new Ford Fiesta R5 MkII in absolutely crazy conditions.
I would also like to thank M-Sport for giving me the fantastic opportunity to get behind the wheel of their latest model as well as MY Hub for putting this project together.
See you soon with hopefully more good news!
Well... He had a few punctures already, and on SS16 he had a double puncture. He returned on service on one rim and arrived 14 minutes late, so 140s time penalty on top of the time loss he already had. So at that moment he was 15th overall. Also the maximum number of tires allowed is 16. He already destroyed 7 tires with punctures. So counting the normal wear of tyres, you can imagine there wasn't much left to use... ;)
Haha ok.

The place where Bedoret and others crashed is shortly after the start. At 2:45 there is huge cut over a field. Besides that I am quite surprised to see so big body roll with the second generation of Fiesta.

"The RNT Rally Challenge is a great initiative for young people to show their talent and have a real chance to prove their abilities."
Neuville knows what he is talking about, 11 years ago it was he who took the wheel ...
"The organization was not quite the same, but in the end I was selected from 120 participants as the winner of the challenge at the time and that's what started my career."
Today, 12 victories and 5 titles of vice world champion later Saint-Vithois is a reference, an example for those kids who dream to walk one day in his footsteps.
For Tom Rensonnet: "It's a great pride for us to be able to work with him so he can look at us, judge us, give us tips to improve, it's just amazing."
Tom and the others want to impress the members of the jury ... at the wheel of cross-car because first, these small bombinettes of 130 HP conceived by Neuville himself.
Then place to a real rally car ... It is in Francorchamps as part of the most beautiful circuit in the world that they must show their speed and show off their talent ... The candidates multiply the passages in special, improve their times being aware that it is their future in motorsport that is played.
"Luck is there, luck does not come often and it is now that we must seize it".
They were nearly 500 at the beginning of the adventure. After 3 months of selection, after these 2 days of testing, there remains only one, a talent that will have to be shaped.
"Talent is something that has been given, you have to have a certain basic talent to then be able to make a career in this sport that is quite complex and that requires a lot of work then.It is not only talent that will help you to make a good career, talent is the base but then it's a lot of work, work, sacrifices, that makes you have a long career in the world of rally ".
Tom Rensonnet, a 21-year-old marketing student, was chosen. He is offered a season in the Belgian Rally Championship, perhaps the beginning of a great adventure and destiny at the Neuville.

I was at the final as well. unfortunately, me and my driver just didn't make it. Tom was a bit faster than us on his final run, we were 2nd fastest...
Anyway, was a great weekend. Learned a lot and it was an absolute pleasure to live with Thierry, Marc Duez, Patrick Magot etc for 48 hours. What an experience :)
The winner gets 1 season in the Belgian Junior Championship for free, in the colours of RACB (national federation) and Peugeot Belgium.

Grégoire Munster will compete in the Belgian Rally Championship with an i20 R5 supported by Hyundai Belgium Luxembourg.
For the BRC things are looking good, seems to get better and better every year. Some drivers who have announced or are rumored to drive the complete championship and could battle for the title: Fernémont (Polo R5), Verschueren (Polo R5), Princen (C3 R5), Guillaume De Mevius (C3 R5), Bédoret (Fabia Evo R5), Ghislain De Mevius (Fabia Evo R5), Cracco (Fabia Evo R5) and Munster (i20 R5).
Bit late to comment on this one, but sad news about Phillip Cracco - at Ypres last year I approached him and said thanks for the support he's given various drivers and events over the years - now very glad I did so.
For this year, hope to be back in Ypres in June so fingers crossed most of these entries coming through will be there too.
No Breen, but Meeke & Hirvonen are here.

The Bastogne Legend Boucles were tarnished by a severe road trip this Sunday morning. In the first timed sector of the day (Les Hautes Virées, 38.47 km), Fred Caprasse and Geoffrey Razzi (Ford Escort) got off the road.
Almost a minute later, Adrian Fernémont and Samuel Maillen, also on a Ford Escort, arrived at the crash site.
"It was a hidden right turn," explains Andennais Adrian Fernémont, Belgian champion of the 2019 rallies. "There was no one to report the car's departure from the road before us. So I approached the curve at a normal running pace when I saw a spectator in the middle of the trajectory. It was impossible for me to avoid it, unfortunately. ”
Projected by Ford on the roadside, this person, whose identity has not been revealed so far, was taken by helicopter to a hospital in the region.
