The geometry is totally strange as we discussed in the R5 thread. There was a lot of controversy even in the team itself and I heard some of the members were opposing that just like You now. There is a reason why they did it but I can't say if it's really justified.
At least they did so much testing that hopefully they know it's working. From the first results we can say the car isn't slower than other R5 cars. One has to admit they have balls when they decide to use something which theoretically shouldn't work...
Some craziness spice the competition which is good. Pity the rules doesn't allow more crazy things like with the latest Nissan LMP prototype or six-wheel Tyrrell F1 car :)
BTW, As someone has predicted, huge crowd of photographers near the jump :D
