Fantastic actiion. Wet RX is like proper old-skool rallycross.
What happened to Doran though ? Gutted for him.

Looks like both will compete together

Marklund has been Blocked, so Niclas is inheriting the victory..

Kevin Hansen inheritate Gronholm's win in Abu Dhabi this year. What is impressive that Kevin Abbring came out of nowhere and climb to 4th place. Amazing. In rally he is not that good at all.
Great drive by Kevin Abbring!
I actually think that Abbring is able match the speed of the WRC top contenders. But it´s true that he often made mistakes under pressure and he had some really bad luck as well. Good to see him in World RX now, I hope to see him for a full season next year.
Abbring learned really fast and handled the 600bhp, racecraft and conditions brilliantly.

MAGIC ! We are back to @FIAWorldRX at @HoljesRX with two supercars Team for @Erikssonkev and @SebEriksson93 !

Anyone see Titans RX on Eurosport in which Craig Breen and Hayden Paddon both took part ?

Very poor WRX copy IMO. Surprised those WRC drivers and the Hansen brothers took part.
Even French RX Division 3 looks better..

That was a pretty crazy Q1 at Höljes. You'd think they were already at the final !
Good for Nitiss winning Q2 after getting rolled out of Q1.
Abbring also looking good again in RX.
Brilliant win by Seb Eriksson in the Ford Fiesta and Nitiss 3rd. Great advert for the car.
Great weekend of racing and, once again, some different names on the podium which is exactly what was hoped for this season.
Can't but help but think OMSE got their timing wrong returning to World RX: they really struggled last year but, despite some issues (and arguably home soil advantage) they were right in the mix in Holjes. Looks like they have reverted back to a conventional layout for the cars (with the cooling in the rear again)? I wonder how different the 2019 cars are to those used last year.
Without meaning to sound like a social media conspiracy theorist, I did question some of the stewards decisions (or rather lack of decisions) in Sweden. Timmy Hansen clearly pushed to pass in the semi-final, but nothing was said. Yet far lighter contact has been punished elsewhere? I am not keen on the lack of consistency.
It feels like we'd need to see a rear view of it (I assume you are talking about the move on Abbring in the last corner?). As if he went on the brakes just as he landed, the stewards are often looking at it a bit milder as "he was on the brakes trying to avoid it". The second impact seemed to be around Abbrings door, that is a grey area in the rules, side by side contact is fine, but so are more often than not "in to the side" contact. It was naugthy, and it could've been penalized, I just wish we saw it from the rear as well.
Big win for Bakkerud in Canada - he now splits the Hansen's and is just 7 pts off the top.
Great for the Championship. Just a pity Gronholm didnt make the final and close up too.
Have they stopped blackflagging cars during heats?
Kevin Hanssen should imo have gotten the black flag (DQ) for the "torpedo" he gave Marklund.
5 points now: Kevin was disqualified from the final for the move on Marklund.
Yeah. Gutted for Gronholm. He should be leading the Championship, such a shame he missed those rounds this year. Still not impossible for him to catch up, but he really needed a better result this weekend.
Bakkerud blew it in the Loheac Final braking too late and running Gronholm wide too. The Hansen's took full advantage and closed up the title race.
Stupid move by Bakkerud, I think he seems a bit too jumpy and OTT to win championships, he was always like this, even as a kid in S1660 despite being there for years and always having good cars.
Kevins joker was stunning and he deserves it this year for me, drives like his Dad, little contact, simply quick. Timmy on the other hand...
Have to say the racing has been a lot more exciting this season and you really don't know who will win each round. A shame manufacturers had to back down for this to happen, but glad the series is not dead and worth watching.
Any news/rumours about ogier in an electric citröen RX-car in 2021?
I've heard some....

Another win for Timmy and just one point between him and Bakkerud before the final round. The absence of works teams definitely seems to have had the effect we wanted!
With four event wins I daresay Timmy has earned the title but, despite what I have been told by various people about him being a decent guy, I am still struggling to warm to him. His whinge after winning Q3 sounded like a petulant child.
Bit belated, but I took a ton of pictures in France and various activities have prevented me from sorting through them sooner...

If anyone is interested in seeing more!
Apparently one of Timmy's mechanics hit someone from another team after the final, not sure who
There was a raceincident between Timmy and Robin Larsson(?). Timmy was pushed of track by him. Have been on Swedish Television. Maybe had to do something with that?
20:07 in this video. Pretty disrespectful from the Hansen member, lost a lot of respect for the team now. https://youtu.be/3CUd81d5KJ8
Maybe an event in Russia next year:

TBH I cant warm to the Hansen brother's either. I dont know what it is, maybe they seem a bit spoiled or its 'cos their ex-Peugeot cars makes them still seem like a factory-team.
I can't warm to Timmy, however, I feel Kevin is more grounded, down to earth.
Regarding the EKS - Hansen Team thing, I feel like basing everything of a very short video from Bakkerud's vlog is wrong. It's not like there has been enough incidents, and it looked a bit like Larsson was in WRX in Riga to try and help Bakkerud/mess with the rivals.
EKS did the same thing in RX Nordic, with Ekström doing the final event. Nothing naughty happened at all, but in Ekström was a direct reason for Larsson managing to take the title with a single point. Again, there is nothing wrong with throwing in drivers if there are money and equipment for it, but Larsson didn't drive the cleanest in Riga.
Portugal back to the WRX next year. Well done Montalegre!
