both editions of sebs are great drivers. some others have pike moments. when we had gronholm it was still fun to watch, but now loeb step away while a big challenge appears. is it because they are both french? french legend in a french team vs a french upcoming hero in a german team?
why can't ford/m-sport afford ogier? or even save their investments (hirvonen and latvala)? we all knew ogier is a potential future world champion even at 2.0L era (VW was not around), couldn't mr wilson saw that?
i never believe big car manufacturers loose money and can't afford sporting. considering how many cars are sold by PSA or BMW or ford, the profit they make is so huge, WRC can only be a hobby for them. i don't count F1 into "sporting" it is a show.
