So how many events still to go in the Spanish Championship? And where are any up-to-date standings?

There is only one rally left (Costa Brava). Standings after Llanes rally are:

1. A. Hevia 69 points 2. M.Fuster 66 points 3. S.Vallejo 56 points 4. J.Basols 50 points 5. J.Puras 38 points

Fuster needs to win at Costa Brava, if so and Hevia is second, then both will have the same points and results. The spanish federation will decide the winner based on the quality of results.

Do You know what happened to Vallejo and Marcelino Hevia?

40. OMV YU Rally was won by Dimitar Iliev after a battle with Jasen Popov. Popov was leading after leg 1, but he had engine problems and lost 3 minutes.

Vallejo broke a transmission on stage 3. Marcelino went off the road on last stage when he was second overall.

Super drive from Alberto and the Polo S 2000, clean and Perfect and the car ran as a swiss watch.. :) ... is going to be exiting in Costa Brava.... and in Portugal the Polo S 2000 finished in 6th also a clean drive for Nuno Pereira ( his 1st rally with a S 2000 car ).
