Yes, same problem when streaming from my phone to TV. Still no app in Android TV.
Same from Mac here sometimes, and i have to cast from my phone after the event or else it just starts from the first broadcast of the weekend no matter what stage i choose.
Still some lag on the onboard's for some reason that i told them about last year but was just told i had to check my 100mbit fiber internett...
I downloaded the new ERC App and the highlights videos on that buffer all the way through. I have no such problem with any other Apps, even with live streaming events.
the app is not great, I also get sound desync issues occasionally when streaming to chromecast. Sometimes it flat out dies and i have to reconnect. other times it's ok.
i have a gigabit fiber connection, most things have zero issues streaming 4k
For this rally I have turned off the sound. I get too irritated listening to them rambeling on.
I look at the live film, and uses ewrc for times and comments.
They need a driver or codriver as an expert on each rally.
Ostberg have said he will not drive in WRC this year, only in Hungary, so hire him when he is free, and put in other drivers/co-drivers in for the rest!
We are paying for this!
So, signal currently down, anyone else experiencing this?
Come on they can’t be serious, woken up especially for this and now missing the whole stage. After that, I don’t want to hear them say: ‘apologies for us being a bunch of amateurs with no clue of how to run this thing.’
Again... "Signal Currently Down" ???? WTF?
Not good enough; happens far too regularly....
Anyone who doesnt have a full WRC+ / ERC+ subscription may want to sign up for a month from this Friday 13 May. They will get to watch 4 events (two in each series) up to 12th June:
Rally Canarias ERC
Rally Portugal WRC
Rally Sardinia WRC
Rally Poland ERC
Why are the two brits rambelling on about tyres. Not a singel comment on how cars are driven, or how the stage looks like.
Why no expert, they have more champs than Gronholm they could get in.
But why they dont ask Ostberg that did so well, is strange to me.
the live maps went suddenly black for me second rally in a row, works and then just one moment doesnt show anything
wrote to them, the answer was they dont see the problem and do CTRL+5
i really do wonder who works there
It's ridiculous. Even Gronholm, who wouldn't consider himself the most fluent English speaker, brought a lot to the broadcast. There are so many experts that could join them and offer a worthwhile contribution.
What's he covering on Discovery+?
They could invite Petter, he is more up to date than than finnish goofey.
Constant problems with the App on my android phone with the live stream buffering and the app crashing.
Having to watch the live stages on the BT Sport app which runs the coverage perfectly...
Cool with Oliver in one of the stages yesterday. Drivers sees and hear things we do not. They add value to the WRC+ product!
I do wish the commentators would stop talking over the drivers at stage end just after the red boards.
I take the sound off, if it is the normal team talking.
End of Saturday media zone is worth a watch. Good rapport between Molly, Julian and crews.
Where is Kiri, btw?
Been funny hearing Neil Cole and Paul King doing stage end interviews.
Nice to hear Juha Kankkunen on commentary too.
Juha in that last stage, something like: "I couldn't be a co-driver, I don't understand pacenotes." Also brilliant, "yes, uh huh" when the drivers were talking.
I also enjoyed his droll assessment of the Finnish language.
I think Molly and Kiri "share" due to other commitments.
I like Paul King better at the stage end than in the booth.
Juha Kankkunen is great.
