Red button coverage would be fine if it was possible to record it easily. The BBC red button coverage has its own channel numbers in the programme guide on Freeview. Why can't Sky pull their fingers out and do the same?
I see there isn't even red button coverage this weekend. What a disgrace. It wouldn't surprise me to see coverage of the world Monopoly championships instead.
I taped it last night- watched the first half, got bored and looked up the result on the internet- didn't seem like I missed very much- another JJ dominated yawnfest (although not as tedious as the F1 race)
No, it wasn't one of the greatest races ever, but good to see JPM running at the front again. Sadly I can't see anyone stopping JJ. Nothing against the guy but I would like to see someone else win the title for a change.Quote:

i was going to fire off an email to sky but they obviously haven't got the desire to keep customers happy.
The race was always going to be on SS3 from 8:30pm. They just added the red button coverage for the first part unto then. You need to read the tv guides better!
thanks for that condescending remark. unfortunately the tv guides give vague/ misleading /conflicting information. even huewen didn't say it would be on ss3, just the red button. the prog info in the epg on sky did not say "start on red button moving to main channel". the previous red button race was shown on the red button all the way through.
sky's website(motorsport section) said "red button" NOT "starting on red button and moving to main channel".(as your post of 21st september illustrates)
at least the last promo huewen did for the upcoming irl race did say "starts on red button".
yeah JPM does seem to have got to grips with the NASCAR thing now. As for JJ- he is very good and this stupid nonsense that is the Chase seems to bring out the best in him.Quote:
