Out of the eleven crews, who has not had a hybrid boost failure in a stage, so far? Fourmaux?
I've been critical of Gus for a while, and Msport for sticking with him as a factory driver (even though he pays), but I'm delighted to see him proving me and many others wrong. I did not see this step up in speed coming.
That extra motivation of knowing you have a competive car/proper testing has worked wonders. He seemed so deflated over the last season or two.
He also seems like a genuinely good bloke. Now he just has to continue consistently setting stage times in and around the top 5/6, and stop having stages where he loses 30s randomly.
That was great to see, really pleased for the lad. He has and does take a pasting on here, and I for one am happy to see him do well.
