If it isn't allowed, then I'd say probably 90% of competitors run illegal tyres. Only the very top guys run specific inters and wet tyres, everyone else use cuts.
I'll try and have a look at the rules, but from what I've seen I'd say it's legal.

Paragraph 50.7 of the 2012 sporting regs (2013 version is not out yet..) says:

50.7 OPSKÆRING
Forsætlig ændring af designet på dækket er kun tilladt i serviceområdet.


50.7 Tyre cutting
Intentional changes to the design of the tyre is only allowed in the Service Park.

In other words: Go for it, cut away. :)

I'm looking for all one-make cup in whole Europe. I think I've all Citroen Racing Trophies, but for the rest ... so if you can help me :)

In Belgium there is a Citroën cup (DS3 R1 and R3) and a Fiesta R2 cup.
