Sebastien Loeb has admitted the shift towards night stages in the World Rally Championship could hasten his decision to retire from the sport. The eight-time world champion has a contract with Citroen until the end of next season, but the Frenchman has a clause in the deal which would allow him to walk away at the end of 2012. Good drivers, but small margins. Do we really care about night stages?

Given that Jean Todt wants to push this more, aren't we just risking a situation whereby we have longer time over more days to know who's going to win?

I'd prefer a good tight sprint over 2 days under more equal situation to find out who truly is the winner.

The rally is still very long.... the one with less punctures will win... but for that to happen Hirvonen should take risks and push...if the top 3 go for preservation of the places due to team orders then it is going to be boring...

Also lets see if Ogier was just playing tonight (which i think he did) and tommorow he will drive as he can.
