Good to see they finally had stage-side cameras for some super fast sections and jumps. When the events are just loops of the same stages they should have more of these cameras showing the real speed of the cars.
All Live has had occasional stageside cameras from Monte 2019 onwards. It's when their technology was updated that the stageside cameras can also stream footage directly (not just on TV stages)Quote:

There's a couple of crappy 2 minute videos on WRCs Youtube channel now for WRC2+3. Why these highlights are not being posted on youtube then? I mean, it would reach WAY more people - especially with the recomendation algorithm thing. Since its "free" anyway. They could even make some $ on youtube, I think.
Does anyone no the real reason for this? Becs gave BS explanations that changed more than the weather did; "rain clouds" "raining" "lightning" "tall trees" etc. On Sunday, commentators tried to ignore the problem because the weather was fine and there were lots of open field stages. A freeze frame actually caught Julian out once as initially he thought a car had stopped. Were they using a hang glider to bounce the signals back to the studio?Quote:
