I was at the autosport show birmingham thursday and Friday.
There was a nice wall with all the prices of various cars.

Ironically, we didn't see M-Sport Fiesta RX version..
Lappi has been testing the Fabia R5 on icy tarmac today.
French driver from Normandy Stéphane Pustelnik presented on friday the new car he will drive this year in the Coupe de France des Rallyes ;)
He will also represent the korean manufacturer Kumho in France...

Stephane Pustelnik! Damn it, I didn't even know that he was still active in rallying! I remember him driving his beautiful Renault Maxi Megane in the French championship. Thanks for the news Tom!
By the way - his last name is Polish and it means a recluse or a hermit :)

Last year Pustelnik drove a 207 S2000 in a few french events and was then codriven by his daughter Léa ;)
He did Alsace too: http://ewrc-results.com/profile.php?...hane-Pustelnik
To be totally honest, Stephane is not interesting for me, but Léa could be.
5 new Fiesta R5 soon at Italy :) Well done Mr. Wilson
Tagai selling the rebuilt 208 R5.
Familiar story?: http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/117388
They were not reliable either. All three cars had a lot of problems especially in the first legs.
Not enough testing. Do they really have the budget? Especially for 3 cars? That is why they pulled the 908 LMP programme. The Pikes Peak project was relatively cheap - the car was a 'parts bin special'.
Jonathan Greer drove for the first time a Citroën DS3 R5 last week-end in the "New Year Stages Rally" in UK...was it his new car or a rented one
Thanks John ;)
Chassis 18, DGM built the chassis 7 too :) to who?
Looks like swedish drivers Thomas Thunström and Robin Friberg will be in the same team with their DS3 R5

Plenty of Craig Breen & other R5 action here during testing at Monte Carlo... http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2f...equipages_auto
SD pic (still no rear bumper on the 208 ;) )

Mitsubishi R5 test. Sounds like a Lancer EVO gr A with ALS from Gr A era!

I like that sound man!
Were the R5's more reliable in Monte Carlo, especially the PSA ones?
Breen's 208T16 seemed to run fault-free for once :) and the only issue was a puncture and difficulty finding the right set-up...
But after about two days Breen reported it was sorted:
'Finally! I have to take my hat off to my engineer, he's made a big, big, big improvement. After our test I thought I knew how to set the car up - but now we are on the correct setup. My rally starts here !'

The 208 of Hirschi is VERY strong (he survived so much already at Jänner :D) and powerfull.
