I don't understand how they can be happy with such a poor performance from their cars...
It's not because of the drivers that Proton don't get better results... it's only about the car... Proton was presented in 2009... now 2011 and I don't see major develepments in the car...
To me it even got worse... in 2009 Wilks and Alister McRae showed something good with the Proton...Quote:

The problem when you start behind is that you have to keep up with the development of the competition and make progress on top of that. That is not easy when you are competing against two full works teams.

Engine is sealed at scrutineering. You can't change it for another one no matter the type. For other parts it's not same for all. Some are unlimited, some not. Anyway it's like rally already started in terms of spares.
