JML seems to be on his way to lead
Looks like the thunderstorm cut a lot of trees on stage 8 and forestry guys spent many hours since 5AM to clear the road. Road is now clean but some cuts might be filled with all kind of debris.
Latvala may take the lead after this 24km long stage
I'm inclined to agree. I really like Toni, and he is a good solid driver on all surfaces but perhaps missing that last little bit of speed and it shows here as there are some very fast drivers in S2000 cars here.Quote:

Really hope to see Ketomaa continue, the battle between him and Hanninen is one of the most interesting things in this rally at the moment.
Henning going for it.
Possibly. Hopefully for Petter, it's better to be second tomorrow. I guess we will have a cat and mouse game towards the last stage, whoo will slow down and who will not.Quote:

Henning is flying too
Looks like all the limiters were turned off in Latvalas car. referring to the interview:
Q. Jari-Matti can still win though?
MW: I don't see any reason why not, yes. He's made a couple of little mistakes that he knows about. We will maybe make a couple of small spec changes when he gets to service.
Q. Are they to speed the car up?
MW: They're to give him a bit better feeling in certain conditions.
Petter still leads - by 0.1 sec!
what fuel did they give Henning's car ?? lol.. Did he leave without Ilka ?
