Good job by Jon Armstrong. Some great times and showed he's got pace on tarmac. Also destroyed his more experienced team mate.

I have to say it, but I never understood why McErlean got the M-Sport drive last year. Ok he got funded by the MI Rally Academy but as Armstrong proves there are better Irish drivers out there.

Make Rally 2s the top category as they are now. No packages, no nothing. As now. There are enough cars and drivers to get a competitive field of 4-5 brands and 10-15 drivers at least. Rally 1 is dead and buried...

It's the manufacturers who will have issues with that. Imagine bosses from Hyundai and Toyota if someone from private team using their car as a customer winning the events. The price of these cars could go in the sky or they will start providong "worse cars" to customers... Or in the worst case leave the championship... Manufacturers wants exclusive or advantage, not equal level
