*Tänak has got the car to not lose too much now.

I'm sad to say it, but Mikkelsen is completely washed.
Stage win for Ogier reminding us he's still the fastest when conditions are equal.
I believe Mikkelsen would have done this stage same time with wrc2 car..
Lost 5.5s to Munster..
Eem, Katsuta 1.3 fastest (Ogier still to come) at the 1st split, 1.7 at the 2nd split.
After full day of rallying they are on equal time!
So, close to 2h of driving and the difference between Neuville and Evans is... 0.0sec.
Hot damn. Equal times at the end of the day. I think Neuville leads on stage wins.
They say Evans goes first tomorrow, but I want to hear that confirmed...
At the end of the day Neuville and Evans equal overall time :D
What a way to regain lead... :)
On equal times, Neuville is leader as he was faster on SS1.
Edit: Possibly a stage win for Fourmaux, with Neuville/Evans/Tanak all going for it. That's quite impressive.
Edit: Katsuta quick too. It's like this stage is cleaning...
How many times they clash with those times already. They are quite a rivals. But I do know something, Neuville did beat him by small margin a few times already. This year is all or nothing for those two. It would be fun if the battle would go on the wire on a last stage on a last rally and (again) by small margin. Everyone would be bitting their nails and pull their hair to the end.
When road conditions are equal, it's quite interesting. 23.63km stage and everyone is quite close.
Really nice times from Fourmaux and Katsuta.
Just everyone will be probably smashed by Ogier...
Tänak did a good stage and is 6th fastest on the stage. On the season 2024, it is something good.
Ogier doesn't fool around.. massive time on this stage
Interesting fact from Ingrassia - Lefebre is the gravel crew for Ogier, because Ogier wanted more precise and not-that-much-on-the-safe-side notes.
Holy cow. That is sensational from Ogier. And look at Ogier sweating.
Everyone who thought after the 1st stage that the rally was done, you can rethink it now. And there is rain forecasted for tomorrow.
Gryazin got an even bigger gain in WRC2 than Ogier in WRC1 on that final stage.
So 2nd pass is definitely cleaning, we are in the very messy section with gravel and late runners are quicker here because the line is creating here
So Neuville and Evans end the day essentially where they started.
Ogier ended pretty close, and he will be higher up the order tomorrow than today. Although I'm not at all sure what road position will mean tomorrow if it rains most of the day.
Great day for Gryazin, started down the order on a tarmac rally and ended up with a nice lead.
Pretty good day for Pajari too.
Well, I figure Evans ought to know about rain...
Tänak better on afternoon but still the beginning of the season has me really worried. Seems like he has lost something between the two seasons. Really weird
And worst possible scenario for him at the moment with two main contenders ahead and Ogier also taking points away from him.
Interestingly from the onboard looked like Gryazin had a small off after the finish of SS8. Would have liked to have seen a replay from the front facing camera.
Wow!
Ogier on Platak stage!

top 3 driver are very close not a boring rally like someone said this in the morning
Know it was from yesterday's s/down but just seen this footage and the first few seconds should see that snapper have any accreditation removed for life..

Today without bigger drama for Rally1, so expecting tomorrow lot of retirements maybe, because there is NEVER rally without issues. Let's see guys, favorizing Ogier for the win probably, depends on what Neuville changes today in service
Good job by Evans for being fast and without mistakes. Neuville was faster but he got the puncture... could have gone worse, though. Ogier back in the fight as well.
Who's got the best road position of the 3 for tomorrow? They'll be quite similar, I imagine.
I was spectator on second pass of SS6 Ravna Gora - Skrad, on spot present also in this video, fast downhill corners with big cuts in forest, pretty unreal experience what this cars and drivers are capable...
I really don`t understand how FIA, promoter etc. don`t want or can`t `upgrade´ this sport a few steps higher in terms of popularity with the general public (IMO pretty much linked to the manufacturers disinterest last two decades).

For me, the only thing wrong with this rally is that it replaced Corsica, and I liked Corsica (even) more.
