Glad to see Tänak's choice payed off, yes a shame Evans had a double puncture but at least he has 2 spares. Really hope Tänak can get this win in the bag and if the two Hyundai's are joining him on the podium, that's good for the manu. championship.
I think he just took the risk knowing if he got away with it there was a chance to take good points off Kalle. I don’t think it was a ‘mistake’, just a gamble that didn’t pay off for him. I’m glad he didn’t play safe and went for it. Kalle had no choice but to drive slow as he only had 1 spare.Quote:

It looks like Evans is really saving tires from outside.
