Mikkelsen on the move again.
Mikkelsen is back on the road but the car looks very second hand :)
EDIT LR uspension is broken.
Good chance for Greensmith with Rossell and Mikkelsen's offs.
Why? Because he is Estonian I cannot express my opinion? I would really like to tell him that plenty of people in the M-Sport factory work their hands up to their elbows (for him) and they did so too when Tanak counted his first experience with M-Sport, so he could show them some respect... nothing more and nothing less.
He can express his opinion on the car to Millener and Wilson.
Engine troubles for Greensmith.
So Ott Tanak is in bad mood and the world is responsible for that, not him.
Ogier saw his luck end and this made him lost motivation...
Funny times where the best drivers make such things :D
big delay for start of SS5...
EDIT: don`t thrust everyone :D
I can’t watch most of the rally because it’s being shown on TNT Sport One Thousand Five Hundred and Sixty Nine, and Virgin Go only supports four TNT sport channels. There must be four more important live events at this time of morning lol.
Anyway, reading stage end comments from ewrc makes me question if many of the drivers actually like rallying. All moaning about something. 10 top cars, all the drivers moaning or unmotivated. One car dominating the rally. Don’t think there’s much in following WRC anymore, it’s a shambles, dying a slow death.
Wow such drama in WRC2 for the title contenders, I was hoping to have some fight but it seems it will be more about survival.
About the grumpy drivers it's nothing new, these guys are only happy if they are winning. I don't say he should do this but I can understand Tanak, remember when he shook hands and said to Malcolm and Rich he is going there "to win", the season is almost over and they apparently only updated the diffs and the car fell apart a lot, you would be grumpy too. As for Ogier, again nothing new remember when he complained about road position? But I think it's a bit unfair to Pirelli, he clearly had a big chunk of rim missing...
Kalle slightly overshot a hairpin.
Re Tänak quote
"I'm trying but we are out of options. There's no tools to put the wet setup on this car, so undrivable for me. It's not forgiving at all, it will be a long day."
It sounds to me like more a complaint about no midday service
Ah, just started. It was in TNT sport 8 last night 😂 didn’t even know it went that high
He’s still moaning though.
Ok, but since we lost Craig Breen, has any driver said something along the lines of, “this is so much fun, I love this rally”
Hope the crew that had the accident are OK. Had a few stages this week on the NZ tarmac Targa that have been cancelled for safety reasons because of rain. (nuts fast too, one stage 157km/h ave, even with a 200km/h top speed restriction, another today 45.6km run in close to 20 minutes flat). Perhaps get the WRC crews down for the NZ Targa next year?
The last few km of this stage are awesome for me.
Ahhh Lappi stopped
Lappi off, as some expected.
I was talking about the WRC1 drivers. Plenty of happy people lower down the field.
Rovenpera doesn’t moan because he’s dominant
Neuville stuck with hard springs chosen at SD. Maybe Tanak is similar.
About Tänak moaning. Some, mostly see it is moaning and some just to be honest. This can be just cultural thing, Estonians are just #nofilter people often and say things straight forward out like those are. For some it's good, for some it's bad.
Yeh, because he’s not actually under any pressure to deliver. Other drivers get close, but drop the ball
Why can´t Lappi just take it a bit easier? Hasn´t he learnt anything in the past years?
The tactical sides need to be improved
Lappi just never learns
Horrible second half of the season
Huge pity for Lappi.
And here was me thinking just beforehand he was showing he should be chosen as a full time driver again for Hyundai next year.
Now all of a sudden things look so different.
The fine margins of rallying at the top level.
Oh Esa and Pekka...

Lappi's car. A lot of damage to the back end.

Shame for Lappi. Horrible end to the season, but overall I wouldn't hammer him too much if Hyundai intend to keep him. His pace and performance has generally been very good, and he's clearly helped improve the car. I dont see a better 3rd driver for hyundai next year than EP? He just needs to knock a percentage or two off his pace sometimes, and he would still be competitive
Stage times are basically just reversed road positions at this point.
