Imo they are "exploiting" the fact that Hyundai doesn't have a strong leader atm to put them in line.

I haven't heard but my guess is that the stages today are so close to Jyväskylä that otherwise the day would appear too short. They would have needed a regroup between Lankamaa 1 and Laukaa 2 anyway, so might as well do it in the service to get something to see for the people.Quote:

Thats revisionist. Ogier was fighting for the championship in the C3 and was pretty much allways fighting for podium positions. Meeke won two rallies in it, when he drove the Yaris he wasn't a whole lot faster. Just because a bunch of third rate british journalists and other influencer type british rally media people claim the C3 was a disaster its not true. If it wasn't for their darling being shown up, they wouldn't be so busy throwing shit at a car that was competitive enough to win rallies.Quote:

Re Ogier - he was whining the most, mostly about starting first on the road but don't forget the Shitroen saga. Yes, it was done bu his wife but he complained a lot about that car.
But generally agree - it's getting tiresome to hear Hyundai drivers complaining all the time, they should change the tune!

I don’t know what Neuville is on about, he only finished here once on the podium and that was 9 years ago, even with the best car he wouldn’t be challenging for the win here. The same thing however cannot be said about Tänak, only when he arrived at Hyundai they finally made it to the podium (double) here last year.
