So you're not interested in SD, fine.. some us are.
No-one said SD results indicate the rally result.

Hi guys. Sorry for the newbie question, but I can't seem to figure out the order of drivers for tomorrow's Wales Rally GB. Does Ogier go first? Or do the lower grades go first? Do the shakedown results impact the order of things? (Etc.)
Can anyone help?
Link to start list for tomorrow http://www.walesrallygb.com/document...th_October.pdf
Road order is a big bone of contention in the WRC, especially with Ogier who has to start first as Ch'ship leader. This means on gravel events he 'cleans' the road giving those behind an advantage.
There used to be a qualifying stage to decide the order but this was dropped a couple of years ago.
Kevin Abbring:
P1 on Shakedown WRC2 @WalesRallyGB. Unexpected on our first outing on gravel with new iNGi20R5 Can't say I didn't enjoy that !
SD times mean nothing directly but they show a way how things are going. Sordo for example... never be fast there and not fast on SD.
But very and very good time for Abbring and i20R5 at gravel, even when a title race are in progress.
In wrc2:
Suninen need at least P2 to pass Evans
If Suninen 2nd - Lappi must win here and be at least 2nd in Australia, if Suninen win here - not matter what Lappi do - Suninen wins a championship
Kopecky must win all... and GB and Australia to pass Suninen.
So three title contenders must win here, and so quick SD time for Abbring make work for championship horses more difficult.
Will be exciting:)

So, best times for Tanak yesterday. Is it him, or the Dmack are giving him an advantage?
