But Kajto was very lucky in Acropolis with his roll.. :p

well done Moura to hold off Luky!
Moura took the victory in style.
What an event! Even on the last stage many positions were swapped, Botka up to 4th, Meireles down to 6th, Moura winning, great fights in every category... One of the best rallies ERC had recently in my opinion. Well done to everybody!
Congrats to Moura. Cool event for sure.
Nice win for the home driver.... and and least the top ERC guys got good points. :)

If Lukyanuk is smart he should enter Ypres, with his form he could be very fast there too, maybe even podium and with Kajto not being there he could close the gap in standings with Kajto then.
so as you can see Luky cant take 1 sec/km from Moura, when he is pushing. For sure he is faster, but not so much.
Congrats to Moura.
Luky fast at every rally he has participate so far, fighting for wins, and with tight budget.
Lukyanuk at the end of SS16: « We had a slow puncture. But we tried to do our best and it wasn’t enough.. Maybe next time! »

Yes, I'm very happy that Botka finally finished a rally without technical problems in his Citroen DS3! 4th place on Azores is a great reward for him after all the problems he had at the beginning of the season.

Diogo Gago won at juniors. Well deserved win, clearly faster.
Paradoxically this rally was also a good event for Kajto. Being 3rd overall after driving 3 stages with a front-wheel-driven car is not bad at all!
Another fine home win in the Juniors.
Brit Chris Ingram with a great 2nd place and a good points gain over his Opel team-mates. ;)
The list of victims still grows:
retired (36 - Gryazin Nikolay / Fedorov Yaroslav): technical problem in SS 15
retired (9 - Costenaro Giacomo / Bardini Justin): technical problem in SS 15
retired (19 - Peres Fernando / Silva José Pedro): technical problem in SS 15
Motoring engineer and former very good rally driver. He works with Kresta Racing, Tlusťák and many other Czech teams.
4th winner in 4th rally. If it wouldn´t be about some few regulars and Junior ERC, ERC would slowly become like ERT.

Botka was very happy in his interviews after Acropolis, saying that he has never experienced that his opponets team would come over and try to help with his car. So he might have been talking about this?
Also, he said before Azores that they put a new wiring loom, engine and turbo into the car and replaced every part that was close to its limit km. Looks like the combo of these helped.
I take my hat off to Lukyanuk. I did not see anyone driving so "crazy" since 2002 (Jani Paasonen) in Azores.
Fantastic Moura, fantastic Gago and fantastic Açores! Huge congrats to the winners and their codrivers, Costa and Magalhães and their teams ARC Sport and Inside Motor Sport.
Really hoping to see Moura back to national championship or doing a couple of ERC events more. And Peugeot Portugal MUST help Gago to stay at ERC Junior. He’s our best young driver and he really deserves to be on an international level.
Well done! Amazing rally!
Chuchala also drove very well. After changing a tire on stage 10 yesterday, loosing 3 min 47 sec on that stage to the stage winner he was in attack mode today and he was 6th today (Leg 2).
Would like to see full onboard of Lukyanuk's SS15!
Yes, great driving from Chuchala and his 4th ERC2 win in a row:

Kajto himself finds this season very difficult:

good news for him is that luky has no more money, Estonia he will be there but rest of season...
I think there is a good chance he would drive Barum as well. After all his team is based just few kilometers from Barum service area.
