He is the proof that the three faster italian drivers (I put Basso on the same level), should have deserved an international chance and they could have had a role in the pinnacle of the sport. It is too late for all of them, and it is a big shame.
Maybe I think this only because I am italian. But, at least in the latest years, it has never happened in any other country that a local driver of the rally who never partecipate to WRC2, was among the best of that category
