The plan was to go Friday and Saturday. Joost and my dad are, but I'm only going to be there saturday. New temporary job started today and can't get the day off Friday.. ;) So a WRC Rallysprint for me this year in Germany.
Could this be the rally where Sordo gets his first win?, remember, no Loeb so no Citroen team orders.
If Ogier doesn't have a clean run, he has a small chance, yes. :)Quote:

I watched 2012 Rally France again yesterday (all stages were aired live on TV) and he seemed really off the pace, barely setting any good times at all. To me, Latvala, Neuville and Östberg (in order) seemed much more comfortable on the stages.
Since 2001 Citroen has won everytime!
Pressure is on ...
Complete list of shakedown times ?
Can't find it on Official Website..
http://pic.twitter.com/tPuhk3A8Up Not really complete but I haven't got anything better
Interesting to see what Latvala can do. He has been always fast on gravel but has progressed a lot on tarmac recent years. Shakedown is promising.. And don't say anything about rocks.. :) .
only have concrete blocks on my mind :DQuote:

Great pics and movies! Keep em coming! ;)
Leaving to Germany tomorrow morning. Only some 3h30mins to drive. We'll go drive a few stages tomorrow and then do SS1 (and possibly SS2 also). If I have enough time during the event, I'll put down some update in the topic here. I'll try to post some photos on the facebook page of rally-image too (http://facebook.rally-image.be - also visible for non-facebook users). Let's hope for an exciting battle like there has been in Finland... :)
List of names (tarmac-crew) that will check the roads after the stages:
Sebastien Ogier –-> Simon Jean-Joseph (replaces Nicolas Vouilloz)
Jari-Matti Latvala –-> Toni Gardemeister
Thierry Neuville –-> Bruno Thiry
Mikko Hirvonen –-> Timo Kankkunen
Dani Sordo –-> Luis Bartolome
Mads Östberg –-> Morten Östberg
Evgeny Novikov –-> Bruno Saby
Andreas Mikkelsen –-> David Doppelreiter
Khalid Al Qassimi –-> Kris Meeke
Martin Prokop –-> Stepan Vojtech
Michal Kosciuszko –-> Lezek Kuzaj
PG Andersson---> Fredrik Åhlin ;)

Östberg approaching the corner van Merksteijn found too difficult last year.

Lifesaver vest on the photographer. It is a heavy breaking after a very fast section. Doesn't look too bad from this angle, but still not the most safe spot...

This we found from Kubica's service lot.
Here are my friend's gallery from Rally Germany so far: ADAC Rallye Deutschland 2013
Like it've been said here already, the shakedown as it is now isn't the most inspiring. Last year it was all new for us and there were some action, but this year it left a milder remark. Only thing similar to last year was that I got sunburnt today as well... Last hairpin right is okeyish, still nothing too special. Ogier missed the braking point on 2nd run and went a little wide, which must've been the first ever I saw Ogier making a mistake. Then we moved on to the place with long view on approach and departure with double right in the middle. Nothing remarkable there. A little bit less spectators compared to last year. Perhaps Wednesday noon isn't the most favourable time.
Tomorrow no rush to get up. These two first days are really easy. It should sped up from Friday morning.
Apparently Ogier (once again) had an handbrake problem on one shakedown run? Does ayone know which system they are using in Germany?

Interesting. What is the motivation for "old boys" like Saby , Garde, Kuzaj, Thiry , Simon Jean_Joseph, to that job? Money, I don't believe, supporting the young ones? maybe... Just for fun and to have a good time around WRC circus?Quote:
