I thought Proton had left WRC
Flights and car hire booked and waiting to hear back from Grasmarksgarden to secure the last available place! Really looking forward to our first trip to WRC Sweden :bounce:
Out of interest, how feasible is it to move around between stages on the Friday and Saturday? Obviously we'd like to maximise our experience of the stages and want to see as much as possible.
Where, exactly, do I need to go to see the entry list? Because all I'm getting is the rally website.Quote:

I was under the impression that the draft entry list had been deleted. However, it's actually been moved to a new address:

Why are the two Mentos Mini not entred for WRC2??? Someone who knows why?
Any news about Paddon and Breen for 2013?
Apparently they want to acquaint themselves with the car. Until now, Gorban and Kikireshko have been using Lancers; now they're switching to the Minis.Quote:

I have no doubt that it's Opaker, near to the end of the stage :) .Quote:

Looking at the entry list, can a WRC Team (not manufacturer team) have three drivers and not just two? Qatar World Rally Team has Nasser, Thierry and Juho registered for points.
As Kielder says, its Opaker. The best stage during the Norway run on sunday is Finnskogen. Several access roads into the stage, always a lot of people on the stage and many nice places for spectating. Also the Mitandersfors stage is very good. The last half of the stage is run in Norway and this is the famous Varaldskogen stage from the Finnskog Rally. Regrettably only one accessroad into the stage, but its a good and wide accessroad with good spectator capacity, appr. after 18-19 km of the stage. A nice place really with a fast left into an open hairpin right.Quote:

Promotional video: Rally Sweden - Closer 30s
The promo video is nice to look at it but other than that it's a mess. I've been going through a lot of promo videos in the last month and I've seen a fair share of great ones.
I've got a few questions.
What's with the woman in the beginning?
What's with cooking food?
What's with the concert?
What's with the snowmobile stunt?
Who are they targeting - people who just want to have a party?
Why no voice over? Most people go do other things during the commercial breaks.
So quite a few questions that popped up in my head. I do understand that all that is related to the rally but like quite many commercials lately they don't seem to have a enough focus.
Oh yeah, and isn't the true party at the stages?
This is the official entry list for Rally Sweden:

cool, andersson with the proton. and nice to hear something from brynildsen, he always was driving like crazy!
well, the organizer try to attract average people who don´t know anything about rallying. They want to do an everyday event of it all...Quote:

Loeb is driving AND nominated for Citroen AD, together with HirvonenQuote:

So Sordo is supporting Al Qassimi in scoring point for Abu Dhabi C.
