New request for Blackbean- Put Atko in the game as a driver for Motorsport Italia (of course with whatever livery he chooses to continue the season with). Hope it is not too late.
WRC3 DLC packs confirmed:
World Rally Championship 3 - Interview With Milestone
Taken from the article/Interview above:
'...In the next future we would like to use the same techniques to draw all the stages in the game.'
FIA WRC license stays on Italian ground ?
Can seem so. Didn't they in the first place have the license for three years? If so they must have renewed it as they are speaking of future games. I had been hoping Codemasters would give it a shot, but I guess they are doing something equally interesting. LCD: Isn't about time Paul Coleman started revealing some news? It's closing in 1 1/2 years since Dirt 3's release. Considering the frequency of the release dates of the DIRT titles (DIRT 1 2007, DIRT 2 2009 and DIRT 3 2011), we should be bound for a new game some time next year?
LCD I think anyone can go out drive/record the stages and get photos and create the stages. I don't think anyone will stop anyone from making a road the same road in a game from real
Life :)
Do you get this message, while watching latest game trailer?
I guess this Is the first DLC coming free with every pre-order!

You can already buy DIRT Showdown in South Africa, let alone pre-order it. Don't know what's going on...

Dirt Showdown, Games - kalahari.com
Takealot even say they have it in stock, which means 24 hour delivery time anywhere in the country.
DIRT Showdown really doesn't have anything to do with the previous games. It's basically a game on banger racing, so yes, I am awaiting a new game from Codemasters ;)
Please let's not talk about crappy game (Showdown) in here :p :
Ah ok that explains it then. Wondered why nobody was saying anything about it!
Icd, there is a video in the top right of your screen grab that looks like it has Jari Ketomaa's car in it. If possible can you put the link for that video on here??? Also if you know of Sandell's presence in the game please let us know...
I think This Is Maciek Oleksowicz's Ford Fiesta S2000.

Anyway, here's spaziogame's whole video:

Fantastic technical stage, totally breathless, with narrow twisty roads,
beautiful changes of surface and amazing shaddy parts In the forest!
Co-driver gives a show of his own and the sounds got more aggressive! Very well done!
@pino: I get your point: Looks like there Is too much vegetation for Argentina...
Exactly too much vegetation...and almost no spectators :( otherwise a great stage.
That stage is exactly the same as last years.
Well I'm impressed! That opening section is very quick in WRC2 but much tighter and slower on this one. Clearly the grip level is much lower. The car sounds a bit flat but they do say the audio isn't final.
Indeed. But hardly reminds the old one. Amazing what graphics can do!Quote:

A very Interesting German pre-view, regarding physics:
'...The input to the controller does exactly what you'd expect. Maybe a little too sensitive, but that can be optimized if possible, even on the settings in the game... the car moves smoothly, leans a bit and responds to the ground as well as the condition of the roadway...'
And something has been already mentioned around here, regarding FIA license staying on Italian hands:
'...Next year, current plans are to the other routes, or at least a part of it, be inspired by their real role models not only visually but also in length and road'

I would love to have the helicopters view of all stages like in Evolutions Studios WRC1 and 2
Rather emphasis the graphic more on the game and not waste them on a helicopter or something the graphic can better go towards!
Especially, the stages Intros of WRC2, where you could fly over the stage before start was a fantastic feeling!Quote:

Sadly, the hellicopter feature Is confirmed, but as a 'challenge' In single player mode.
Obviously It won't appear In the special stages during championship...

I think the helicopter is there to give the game a little bit more atmosphere - the broadcasts of the rallies generally employ helicopters to follow cars, particularly through the power stages (especially the longer ones).Quote:

One of the thing didn't like In both previous games, was that all non official cars, had really poor liveries.
I see that this Is carrying on In WRC3. I think It would be possible for the studio artists, to give a more racing look on those cars, even If the sponsors or labels used, were Imaginary.
What car is that supposed to be?
:oQuote:
