I'm sure it must be a mistake, it is definitely a S2000 he has :)Quote:

With the lack of entries, should the organisers been more pro-active and paid/invited the other top IRC cars/drivers to the event?
Even the National event which runs for 3 stages on Saturday has a small entry, but still runs - so there is obviously a lot of money behind the event.
I only see a white paper. :(Quote:

Is this the full entry list?

Thank you.
More questions: I know Alister McRae is a Scottish driver, but are there also other Scottish drivers and co-drivers that has 'GB' behind their name? Is it Dave Weston or Dave Weston jr. that is entering the rally?
Junior, I think he's Scottish.
Edit - http://www.westonjunior.com/
Thanks again.

I would assume it's Dave Weston Junior as he normally drives an Impreza.
Thank you, J4MIE. It is indeed Dave Weston Junior and I also saw on his site it is an Impreza N12.
Are most people arriving next Wednesday?
Still undecided on whether to go or not. A long way to travel for 5/6 S2000's, and only 34 cars entered. Plus the £50 ticket, and it appears no overnight parking in the forests.
Is that a no then? ;)
Robert Reid will be doing the English language commentary on Eurosport during Rally Scotland.
Does somebody have the stages, I would like to put in my GPS...
Meeke testing, slightly changed livery on car and service truck:

That video of the stage looks like it is quite similar to the rest of the stages, maybe they are muddier but the weather forecast is not great. Been away at another event so didn't manage to make it to the Kronos test today. Out first thing tomorrow morning to marshal on the recce :)
It was shortly reported that Meeke briefly crashed on a log or smth and broke the steering but it was fixed quickly and he continued testing. The second Peugeot was not so lucky. After 30-35 miles its engine blew up and the day was over for BFG driver.
Peugeot has serious problems with engines in last couple of months...
Meeke's engine went on the McRae stages after a few kms and now the BFG car goes bang. Mirek, has there been other engine failures or is it just the Scottish air?Quote:

Noel: It's not always just about engine but at least it's always connected with it somehow. Kris Meeke also retired with engine problems in Rallye du Mont Blanc, Loix had problems with engine electrics in Rallye du Condroz. Vouilloz had an engine fire in Barum Rally. There were also quite a lot of engine troubles with Peugeots here in CZ.
I believe on the McRae Stages it was a water pump failure.

How can you follow this event on the stages? SMS service?
With your ears and eyes open and nose clean :-) Then you can hear the cars, see the cars and smell the cars;-)Quote:

Well, if it continues like that, then there is a real possibility that in addition to Fiat in 2WD Honda can take over Proton in 4WD manufacturers table.Quote:

i think he doesnt see any point in taking place as he has nothing to gain and basicly he spent the budget for scotland on a run in a s2000 in his home country,as thats where he hopes to go to the irc in a s2000 next yearQuote:
