Question of the rally - will Kuzaj succesfully get through SS 1? :p
I'm more interested in a Bouffier - Holowczyc duel. :)Quote:

Great news indeed :D
But don't underestimate Bouffier though :p :
That's great news, but I'm not so sure that he will be so much faster.
Bouffier will be far behind Alen. Don`t underestimate Anton.Quote:

It's full gravel and I think we will see beautiful fight between Bouffier and Alen. I'm afraid that Holowczyc will be slower...
Kuzaj? Hmmm... I'm not so sure he will be on the finish line ;)
Nothing intersting, just "blablabla" about Bouffier and Nikon Rally.Quote:

Nikon Rally starts tomorrow: http://www.rajd-nikon.pl
Kuzaj did fastest time on shakedown and Marcin Turski (Impreza) had a crash and the stage wasn't resumed after that.
Tomorrow we are going to spectate the rally so don't expect any info from us :)
The weather can be a deciding factor in Nikon Rally. They are forecasting rain for Saturday...
And as far as Alen is concerned, he didn't show much in Czech Republic. But gravel is a completely different story...

For me Alén was very nice surprise on Barum's specific brutal tarmac. He was both reasonably fast and spectacular. And he was very fast especialy on Pindula which is usualy frightening for those who drive through it for the first time... like as for Vouilloz :) . He was there 3rd (+7s) and 4th (+5s)! That mistake he made on stage nine could happen very easy, as we saw on onboard he lost control on a lose gravel and went off road but it looked like there was no big damage.
Of course he's one of the favourites here on gravel but I think we can't put him aside on tarmac too.
The rally has started ;)
Bouffier fastest than Kuzaj and Solowow... :)
OK, Kuzaj dod SS1, he surprised ;) But where is big star Guzek? :p
Ad Anton: He didn't finish Barum, but he surely was one of the biggest surprises of the competition. If it was his second tarmac competition in his life, it definitely showed his talent.
Lubiak improved a lot his performance in this rally! he is currently 2nd overall!
Guzek damaged clutch before SS1...
Kuzaj had a puncture in SS3.
I'm impressed by the performance of Lubiak. he is going very well.
Yeah Lubiak surprised me also ;)
GO GO BRYAN BOUFFIER AND XAVIER PANSERI !!!!! :bounce: :bounce:
Bouffier again very impressive. But as You I'm very surprised by Lubiak. Is it caused by co-driver change?
Why Alén and Holowczyc are not in the competitive field?
Sorry for last question. I don't know why but I dont have "Edit" at my post so I can't delete it ;)
End of leg 1...Bouffier will have an advantage of 1m24s over Leszek Kuzaj on tomorrow four last stages of the rally... ;)
I really hope performance that Bryan and Peugeot-Sport Polska are showing will attract good polish drivers to the 207 S2000 for next year's championship and/or IRC... :mark:
Why GUZEK did nbot start the first stage with the Punto ? i heard he did the prologue stage and after stop ?? anybody know the reason ?
I think he had transmission/gearbox problem :mark:
Kuzaj is driving a very long rally this time. :D
GTA: I saw a photo of Guzek with Swift, not with Punto...
I suppose you made some confusion between Grzyb and Guzek.Quote:

Victory for Bryan Bouffier and Xavier Panséri !!! :bounce: :bounce:
Very well done, guys !!
I think they are "polish champions" as Tomasz Kuchar seems to have retired in the last stage and that Sebastian Frycz finished 5th(and get 4 points)...
Rally is over... Another victory for Bouffier...
Kuzaj finally got the finish line this year... he should be happy... :D
Lubiak done his best rally this year, very well... rd overall it's a fantastic result for him.
Bebenek, had to change a wheel in stage SS 12 and lost a lot of time... then he retired taken advantage of super rally system...
Kuchar retired with problems in the last stage.
Grzyb achive here a fantastic result... winner of 2 wheel drive cars, and 6th overall, very good for him.
The reason was that the clutch in Guzek's Punto broke down before the start of the rally.Quote:

Somebody was right here, that Guzek was driving Suzuki Swift not so long ago, but it was only a show for his sponsors, not a real rally.
And yes, Lubiak made a big progress in this rally! I could see with my own eyes, that he was driving much faster and cleaner, than he did in previous rallies. And there were no problems with the car, finally.
But congratulations go to Bryan Bouffier, who is already 2007 Polish Rally Champion. He can celebrate the title, because engine broke down in Kuchar's car on the very last stage, right in front of my eyes.
I will post some photos for you next week, now I'm too tired to do anything. Don't watch any photos until I post mine!!! ;)
Mirek: Guzek ran Swift only during some promo event for his sponsors ad partners...
The cause with that "steel hedgehogs" seems to me like some ultrapolish fan can´t get over fact, that polish crews are beaten by French... Maybe I am wrong, but this is the feeling I have.
Karbonyl: I think that drivers who suffered pancture by that hedgehogs were all Polish ;)
Your feeling is totally wrong. I have no idea why you think so.Quote:

Jarek: Similar case happened also in our republic few years ago. At Rally Bohemia 2001 somebody threw nails right in front of Octavia WRC driven by Bruno Thiry. The Belgian suffered double puncture and lost 90 seconds. Until this accident he was fighting for 1st position with Roman Kresta, who finally won the competition. Both of them were running the same cars of manufacture team Škoda Motorsport.
I can not understand behaviour of person, who did this, but on the other hand I can imagine, that this unusually thinking person can do anything in favour of his favourite and to annul his favourite´s opponents. And I still think, that both of these cases are veeeery similar.
We have these "nails" or "hedgehos" for the second time (in different places in Poland) and in both cases these actions look too professional. I'm afraid that this is done not by some stupid spectators. I still can't believe it's real and really don't know what to think about that... :(
This looks very bad and it's lucky that nobody got killed.
There was also a similar case last year on Rally Bohemia I think when someone spilled an oil canister and few cars crashed at that spot.Horrible!
