Hehe, very clever. But you are looking at it in the wrong way. If there were more drivers of a similar quality then the gaps would not be so huge.

So you think the ones who can drive should retire and give space to the lousy ones.
I think its good the best are present, the gaps does not really matter at all, it just shows this rally driving is not so easy after all.

It is the "internet-anxiety" for live through the web rally spectating!!!

I rmeber times when I had to wait for he next day newspaper to have information f previous day stage (no way I could get stage times on he same day, except for my hom rally and 1 or 2 more).

Detailed info,just the following week with specialized magazines!!!

Rally could easily recover interest if Loeb does a good second loop today.
Also Galli and th Subarus are having a fight wih Sordo right with them, and Villagra is doing better, will he keep Henning and Garde behind??
Quite a good things to follow, also PWRC could develop an interesting fight.

Not at all. But I would like to see some more teams who could accommodate some of the many capable drivers out there. I am really looking forward to the S2000T rules coming, which should hopefully tempt some more in.

Propably more teams for a while yes, but the gaps will remaine because there is not enough good drivers, and those teams that dont do well will stop in same way like in S1600.

Have youseen commnets by Garde on last (SS4) stage: "Last two stages were nice, fast time, but two big moments before. I just want to say hello to my wife and mother."

It seems they were really BIG moments!!!

I think Loeb will not risk anything from now on...his main contender just crashed.....and he can have Hirvonen for Breakfast Lunch and supper whenever he wants....he can afford to be patient since the gap is minimal and the tarmac rallies are ahead.

I was trying to be optimistic for Suzuki, but my 140k miles Toyota could get to the stage without dying.

Just got back from school and seen the results. Great first stage by Mikko, and without sounding horrible and cynical, glad JML has crashed so people stop going on about him! Are any split sites working yet?
This rally is not over.
Latvala has shown that there is the possibility of retirements, so the leaderboard will be chopping and changing.
And the gap between Petter, Gigi and Sordo is less than 15 secs.
Sordo is doing well I think, as he is running so late on the road and still getting top times on a couple of stages.

Just you don't need refresh pages, it work automatically and new times including as they comes ... but maybe this useful for teams in service area, pres office etc., as from this reason we develop this web-based rotation.

Well, refresh meta-tag is used in many sites but I fear that most users are not patient enough to wait for timer to expire and refresh manually anyway (I know that I am). Having it included in the page does no harm however, so can use it.

Of course, we know that. We decided to change system few years ago, when received aroud 5000 request within minute and it was pretty hard for hardware :) Now 'outsiders' can see only static pages, they generated automatically on background, not by every user's request (groups, cups, classes etc.).
