Of course competition is now little bit higher than in 2014. I have nothing against Robert, he was very good driver, but his footprint in ERC was not strong...

Think it will be difficult, competition is indeed quite high plus he's already 52 years old. What he achieved in Belgium is already very impressive with his experience and age.

It's good news for the ERC as the Verstappen name should bring some extra attention.
Yes, he only did a couple of rallies, but for me winning a rally in the European Chamionship is already a footprint :)
I don't think there are many racing drivers who managed to win even one rally. Maybe Verstappen will be next, but he started his rally "career" very late ;)
now thats interesting!! i agree, not sure he can win an event but its going to be fun anyway!
From Rally Journal:
"Thierry Neuville has the Life Live team, which is now bringing Frenchman Stephane Lefebvre into the European Rally Championship.
“Nothing is set in stone yet, but we believe in this project,” Lefebvre commented, according to Belgian site AutoTrends.
Why did Neuville recommend the French driver? According to respected AutoTrends journalist Oliver de Wilde, Neuville and Lefebvre are finalising a deal to compete in the ERC with a Hyundai Rally2 car, based at Neuville’s Life Live team headquarters in Saint-Vith, Belgium. The Belgian site reports that the agreement looks very promising."
