What is Bob Varsha doing on NBCSports????????????????? He said he wasn't going with the rest of the crew!

He's replacing Diffey for just this race because D is covering the Indy race. I would love for him to be permanent.

Charlie whiting will first postpone it for half and hour for fear of imminent rain
then another half an hour, then called off due to diminishing light

so much for those "european start times"

which means everyone this side of the atlantic, north, central and south, all have to watch qualy and he races at 4am onwards
