from Romania:
* The national champion, Titi Aur, already switched from OMV-Petrom Rally Team to the newly resurected Balkan Petroleum RT (in partnership with a football team)
* The rumour mill says the vice-champion, young hotshoes Claudiu David is getting a P-WRC programme next year with OMV.
* Italian veteran Marco Tempestini strenghtened his team (Motorhome) and renewed his commitment to the Romanian championship (he will have a new co-driver, national champion in 2004).
According to the latest rumours, the 2007 french tarmac championship looks like a whales battle between Jean-Marie Cuoq(own car) and David Salanon(BSA car) ;)
Other WRC cars will enter(Imprezas, Corollas and 206s)but all look unlikely to be able to threat the two whales in front(because older spec. cars) :mark:
Nicolas Vouilloz, 2006 champion, looks definitely out of France to run IRC in a 207 S2000...
But at the moment only Peugeot 207 S2000 for Bruno is sure. Peugeot Portugal are thinking to receive the new car at the beginning of February.Quote:

Portuguese Fiat should present next Friday the plans for the Portuguese rally championship. Finally they will make the official announcement. José Pedro Fontes must be the driver.
Fontes is one of the most fastest portuguese driver, in my opinion he only needs to show more consistency during whole championship, very spectacular.
