It's an '04, so about 2 years old in those pics. For the first couple of years that I had it, I was working out of state quite a bit, so I seldom drove it. I like the 04/05 bodystyle, along with the 02/03 "bug eye" (the first WRX's that we got here). I don't like the looks of any of the WRX/STI's made after '05. I think Subaru and Jaguar got together and decided to start making cars that I wouldn't like after 2005. Plus mine has the "proper" (WRC) 2 liter turbo, not the 2.5 that they're putting in the WRX and STI now.

Subarus have good reliability record. So I wouldn't be afraid to put some money in that Legacy or an older WRX. What you could sell it for doesn't matter as much as how much you'll enjoy driving it after you're done... and it'll probably last another 7 or 8 years. :up:

She had a C5 Vette. I've never been a HUGE Corvette fan, but it really was a nice car. IMO, they are about the best sports cars for the money you can buy. Hers was stock and it had big power, good brakes and cornered like crazy. And then one night she had too much tequilla, danced on the hood and cracked it - even though I wasn't drinking and it was HER tequilla, somehow that was my fault. :confused:

Her car was nice. And she was fun to go to races and car shows with. But as I eventually came to realize, she was crazy (and not crazy in a funny kind of way... I mean like bipolar/schizophrenic crazy or something). And she certainly was NOT camera shy. :eek:
