In another thread I also mentioned that Karl Kruuda changed his car from Civic to Swift S1600
34 cars again, really bad.
64 in total is not that bad just 30 of them will not appear in WRC.com classification table.
He ran out of talent i'd imagine. Luckily he's got rich backers...Quote:

Sordo and Loeb were very strong, though Hirvonen and JML not being that much behind, at the end being at front actually. It was also nice to be reminded that there were straights with top speed over 200 km/h, but winner Hirvonen's avarage speed was only 88,8 km/h.
Now the question is, as we have read the heavy rains destroyed much of the roads that are being used as stages. They've been rebuilt, but could've this left the road surface softer than in 2008 edition. Also the nature of loose gravel could be different. So in this sense this year's Rally Jordan could have much different profile than that of 2008.
One talking point of Rally Jordan is always that it runs below the sea level where as previous round Mexico was at higher altitude, which is believed (and proofed) to be more favourable for Citroens. Jordan climbs higher altitudes as well, at highest over 1 700 metres, but that still is lower than the low point of Rally Mexico, 1 800 metres.
Yeah, and remember that this time there will be over 60 cars passing the stages and most of hem are 4WD cars..
