@ Jérémie: There are some little errors in your info. The PPIHC track is 19.99kms long (= 12.42mls), the start is at 2862m (= 9390ft) and the finish or the summit at 4301m (14110ft). ;)

The Ford team was not as prepared as they should have been for this event. Marcus has been very frustrated all week with issues with the car...

Whatever they do for testing over here in Europe is IMO not really suitable for the very event in question.
Or is it possible to rent the Pikes Peak Highway for pre-race testing?
"Monster" has no less than 20 years of PPIHC experience on his side.
And to me he looks slower than "Bosse" in the second corner shown in that Day 3 video…
