Sadly another disappointing engine sound. Sorry if I have been sounding extremely negative the past days, it's just that sound is such an important part in whether a rallying game is enjoyable or not.

I can only agree with Bennizw but in this case I'm sure that I will enjoy WRC 3 anway but I will absolutly be enoyed by this sound! And It will drag down the whole thing a little bit.

They need to do much better, this game with some more details and great sound will be absolutly perfect!!

And I'm sure it will happend for WRC 4...

I cant think of any other way. If Milestone do this good from last game, they must dubbel up the greatness for the 4th game! ;)

Keep on working guys, this will beat the 90+ even with bad sound.. But it's a BIG thing for us rallyfans who LOVE how the beautiful car sounds!

About the Mexico video: Very early lift off on the throttle, so just like Nobre in real life. The car does not have the flag on it, why is this? I think the JCW sounds like it did in WRC2. Standing stage side the car has a sharp bark and the anti-lag system causes a wooshing sound and fire from both exhausts, very unique and hard to describe and replicate. maybe too hard to reproduce?

Can we use the 01B as well as the 01A? It would be a shame not to have both as in the first WRC game we could get the Focus WRC08 and 09 to compare differences.

Can you all stop complaining about the sound? Seriously, have each and everyone of you sat inside a Rally car? yes you've heard them drive past and as we've had an explanation a few posts before.... when you sit inside a rally car.. I have on gravel, not only do you hear the engine rev's and noises in the helmet, and the co-driver, you hear the gravel racketing around... all over the place! Under your feet, in the wheel arches it's ridiculously LOUD! As equal or if not MORE louder then the engine noise! On the outside, yes we've all heard the cars start off and accelerate past us... but it IS difficult to replicate each driver/player pushing the car or braking and changing gear. Milestone have done a great job so far and they have plenty of time to fix things in more games to come! Did everyone complain when WRC1 came out before this 3rd version? How about the older series of the game?!

Yes, I have sat in numerous rally cars, and know how it sounds from inside with the engine sound, gravel, intercom etc. My point is: If Codemasters could replicate amazing engine sounds for DIRT 3, why can only Milestone manage sounds we'd expect from the 90's for WRC3? The fact is that the older series of the game (with Evolution studios between 2001 and 2005), actually had good engine sounds considering the time period they were brought out - therefore there wasn't much complaining on that regard.

It's a very big thing for the whole experience....

You have right, Milestone has done a fantastic job, but NOT with the sound...

And when other people can sit at home and fix great sound for a very old rallygame, and when Milestone have a WRC-license and said that the sound for WRC 3 is now going to be realistic and "live-recorded".....

- Then we have a absolutly right to complain big time!

Listnen to the amatur who has fixed the sound for the 2011 Fiesta WRC in RBR2012...
That's some real ****, listnen to that sound from the inside. That is exactly how it sound inside the Fiesta WRC... And that guy do not own or work at a big develop office...

We have a absolutly right to put some demand on Milestone when they have the license...

The sound is a very very big thing for most of the fans, the sound create the true realism and the goddies to our ears! ;)

Request: Some of you have already made pretty clear your thoughts on the sounds Issue.
Please don't post the same things again and again, post after post. It's getting quite boring
for visitors to come here and read the same things day after day ;) There must be some more things
about the game you'd like to discuss...
