Was Baumschlager driving an Evo X?How did he do?Quote:

To tell the truth I can't judge how fast it is by sight but he retired from sixth place (I think) with probably broken turbo (he passed me on SS5 slowly on warning lights). His mechanics were working on the car even on saturday penultimate service but I don't know why. Maybe someone is interested in shock absorbers Mundl uses - Sachs. In my opinion Evo X seems to be faster than N14s I saw personaly.

There were two interwievs with Kresta in last days and it seems like he'll continue the same way as in 2008. That means Czech international championship and probably Rallysprint Kopná as a pre-Barum test. The car will be probably either Mitsubishi or Peugeot 207 (at least for Barum). depends on budget, competition and economical situation of sponsors in current crisis. In the moment it is almost sure Pech stays in Mitsubishi so that Kresta needn't to switch in S2000...
I heard rumors that Pech will continue with an S2000...
Obviously wrong rumors
@mirek: they just announced after analytical investigation by DEKRA that the front brake cylinder was bloked during usage at 180 km/hr, so they moved straight out...Quote:

Because Mirek said it is almost sure he will continue with Mitsubishi, and I heard those rumors after the end of Barum Rally when I heard he was furious that the S2000 have gone too far and that he can no more stay competitive against them with an N4
I repeat these are all rumors
Pech wasn't furious about S2000's pace on Barum. He was lucky with his performance until the gearbox failure. After Kresta's crash he could move into the lead of Czech championship even with Lancer there. He had the pace. Just look into the results where he was before retirement. He was fastest from production cars in all tarmac IRC rounds.
CWJ: Thanks
Yep but I dont think that Pech will be happy with "just" the best production car.
I think he wants to win on his stages in front of the Czech crowd with such international entries.
I know he was very fast,as he always is
I think he knew very well that only a lot of fortune could make him winner against top S2000 drivers, so that his ambitions weren't that high.
at the setkani mistru people siad charouz motorsport gets 3 peugeot 207 s2000! but nobody still who drive the cars next year! (Kresta, pech, semmerad???????)

Kresta and Pech will continue with Lancer next year and I think it is better for Martin Semerád to do another season in the Lancer. Don't forget he is only 18 years old.Quote:

It seems to be true that CHRS ordered 3 Pugs but we must wait what will happen with them. In the moment they don't have them in my opinion.
There will be all CHRS cars in Prague in december. Those are 4 Lancers (usualy Kresta, Pech, Semerád sr. and Semerád jr.). If they had more rally cars, they'll use them at least for Tomáš Enge who wanted to start but won't because of not enough cars in CHRS.

How is Jan Černy doing in his Subaru?
Černý won by a minute. That Subaru was rented only.

Yes, it is second car of Dan Behalek, Martin Knajzl was starting with it once this year. Jan Cerny may start with this car again in Prazsky rallysprint and maybe on some events next year.Quote:
