If i'm right Koci start season with C2 R2 and Fiesta and last start with Fabia S2000, big progress
Everything is according to pre-season plans. They were thinking to switch next year into WRC Academy, but after experience during this year I think they will change it...Quote:

I don't like it at all...
Looks like Martin Bujáček will start in Lancer WRC 05 on Saturday Rallyshow Uherský Brod.
Martin Bujacek is not the driver for second Lancer WRC
Results of Rallyshow Uherský Brod here since 13:30: RallyShow Uherský Brod 2012 - Results - Rally-Base
With the fourth lancer WRC it's Martin Březík :) (also Martin B...)

So far we don't have much information. There was a tragic accident in which several spectators died. First information speak about four dead including one child and three injured. Crew No. 27 with Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX is reported to hit a tree or pole which changed the direction of car into spectators. The accident happened on stage Lopeník which is a natural stage used for the first time.
Hard to find any words, really...
Oh My God....
am i dreaming?...
Unbelievable... :( More and more accidents happening last time while safety rules are becoming more and more strict.
Official information: Autosport
rip.
Is it possible to ban rally in Czech Republic? Sorry if question is stupid but for me and maybe for us is only bad luck(?). I heard many negatives info from Czech Republic after earlier crashes
i know it is too early to put that question but this year in Czech is terrible
RIP. I think it is not only in Czech Republic. This year so many accidents happened, it is just unbelievable. My toughts are going to all the victims and their family's.
I completely agree with wwbroe. Again a sad day for rallying. :(
unbelivable......r.i.p. :(
Just read this. I'm horrified and saddened. These are rallying deaths no. 20-23 this season. Far too many. I hope there is a solution found that'd make our beloved sport safer for competitiors and spectators alike, and at the same time not killing (no pun) the essence of this sport. This just is unbelievable sad and wrong.
Sad day for rallying... R.I.P.
This year is really a nightmare. I only know three different events in the Czech Republic as live spectator (Sumava, Krumlov, Barum) and I´m really thinking that the safety for spectators is very good in the Czech Republic. Therefore this tragic incidents from this year are absolute unbelieveale for me. R.I.P.
I don't like to comment such things at all, but this is horrible end of this Rally season. It is just so wrong to be victim when you go to enjoy this incredible sport. Sadly our sport is dangerous, and I hope the actions FIA are taking with the tyres will make it more safe for now on. Condolences to the families of the victims, R.I.P.
It still very different if You are killed as a spectator who knows which risks he takes by going to spectate such dangerous sport but in this case it was sadly all local people living at the stage who were killed. All dead are young girls of age from 6 to 19 years probably standing at the garden next to the stage. It's not even clear if they were spectating the event because I was told that from the spot You could hardly see something (moreover it is just a straight). Hard to say what exactly happened but the outcome is horrible.
:( Terrible...Quote:

Tragic.
My sincere condolences to all involved.
My condolences to all the family's of the victims.
Rest In Peace.
According to driver he went off he road due to very strong wind in that area (which is true, whole day was around Uhersky Brod very strong wind). Killed people were standing at very bad place very close to the road...
Such a twist of fate. My condolences to all who ever is involved in this tragedy. R.I.P.

It must be said that my personell were accredited as TV-photographers and they wore the photo tabards from the organiser. They are also very experienced personell having filmed motorsport for up to 20 years, and felt at a couple of occasions that the marshals focused more on speaking to accredited photographers than guiding the spectators.
On SS6 there could have been another tragedy when driver of car no. 5, Pavel Valousek (Peugeot 207 S2000) missed his braking into a junction and went straight on over a pavement curb and into a grass banking were spectators were sitting. The speed was not great though, and therefore the spectators managed to roll away from the oncoming car. But it was close, so close! One of my cameramen filmed the incident, but it happened in a split second and he didn`t manage to film it properly. Still his immedate thoughts were that there had to be spectators underneath the car. Happily there was none, but that was only pure luck! The stage was running again as SS8 later the same day, and now the grass banking was marked as forbidden area and guarded by marshals. This time a Mitsubishi went off...
It just goes to show that even with lots of marshals around, there is no way to totallly secure every meter of a rally. And it also depends on the experience of the marshals and security personell. The place where Valousek went off was not deemed dangerous initially and not marked as forbidden for spectators, but it certainly was...
Henning, that place from Příbram You speak about was found dangerous by Jan Kopecký and Pavel Dresler who were driving one of safety cars. They asked stage director to move the people back. for me it is not very clear what happened later. I heard the crowd refused to move more than a bit and only after the off of Valoušek the people agreed to back off. Sure it was luck nothing happened.
Here in Uherský Brod it was different at least according to all available information. All taping and no-go zones were perfectly ok in the area. Problem was that the marshal who was local guy was chatting with his relatives and friends (turned back to coming cars in strong wind - impossible to hear) instead of moving them out of dangerous zone. He was among the people hit by the car and he survived injured however all his friends are dead. If they stood just four meters from the road they would be all alive. A huge tragedy caused by a stupid human fault. Now we'll see if rallying can continue in our country as the media hunt is enormous.
