Kalle has matured a lot and he's doing great, but it doesn't take a genius to know you need to be consistent to win a championship. The fact that Toyota is many times more reliable than Hyundai (and Evans being disappointing so far) is why Kalle will be unchallenged for the title.

He may not need to take anything back. Mikkelsen's Skoda last two stages had an engine issue.

So tomorrow's starting order is championship title order, first Loeb, then Ogier, then Tänak, then the rest...

True, I'm not denying the car isn't helping him achieve it, but he isn't making the same silly mistakes as his teammate Evans, and I'm sure if Hyundai would get their car right from the off, both Tänak & Neuviile would be up there at the sharp end making it much more difficult for him. As for the manufacturer title, it seems that it's once again, Toyota's to lose.

About the punctures: I think the roads were in bad condition. Finnish TV said there was no road repairs since last year's rally, just some new gravel on top. And remember how almost everyone had a puncture on the long stage in Turkey 2020, on Michelins?

The Hyundai Veloster used beadlock wheel rims in the old American Global rallycross series. (likely 17 inch diameter)

It is possible to make 15 inch bead lock rims. The extra weight is in the rim rather than in the tyre side wall or carcass etc.
Puts the money into a semi-asset form in a reuseable rim, that can be on-sold to lower levels of motorsport when lifed out of the top level.

It is not like the old days turning up to events with 300 plus tyres & 100 rims per car etc.

start times for SS10 to SS15 have been moved forward by 8 minutes
e.g. SS10 was 07:38 now 07:30 etc
reference Bulletin number 4 issued at 23:40 Portugese time.

No explanation of reason for change has been given
