After first three second day's stages Andreucci took the lead in this rally, as expected...Interesting, on the second run Andreucci managed almost 30 seconds faster time as from the first run (18,3 km of the stage). That is impressive. Travaglia is in a closed battle with Gamba, yust few second apart on every stage.
Turbo problem for Travaglia who loses more than 2 minutes :(
But with the last loop of stage to go, still battle for third(and victory in TRT)between Ceccoli and Trentin ;)
Looks like Ucci found his usual speed.
Perico is disappointing so far.
I really would like to see Travaglia back in S2000, grN car is not fast enough for his rivals in s2000.
Indeed, Paolo Andreucci put things were they belong....he won with a solid margin against his biggest rival, young Umberto Scandola. Third, Mauro Trentin already more than minute and half behind. Again very solid result from DS3 R3T driver Cempedelli and also astonishing performance by Finish driver Pajunen in Twingo R2-tenth place, in front of much stronger opposition with front driven cars and even some N4 cars....Quote:

Besides Scandolas puncture it was from solid margin. Pretty close I would say.
This coming week-end Rally della Lanterna, tarmac championship event(TRA)counting as second appointment of the italian Citroėn DS3 Trophy ;)

End of Rally Adriatico for Ceccoli on penultimate ss (he was third overall) Crash Ceccoli-Mirabella / 19° Rally Adriatico Campionato Italiano Rally - YouTube
And a nice video of the rally 19° Rally Adriatico 2012 Show [HD] - YouTube
Suprise to me at the Lanterna: the return of swiss driver Devis Cremona at the wheels of a DS3 R3(running the italian trofeo) :)
Pitty: no Alessandro Bettega this time, though :mark:
Rallye della Lanterna: after four stages already a massive advantage by Italian tarmac king Felice Re. On the other hand close battles between DS3 drivers.
Fantastic show by Andrea Crugnola(winner of trofeo DS3) and Davide Storace at the Lanterna Rally :bounce:
Very POOR entrylist at this week-end's Rally Puglia & Luciana, next round of gravel championship(TRT) !!! :s

The Rally Prealpi Orobiche, a round for the International Rally Cup, has a much better entry list: http://www.acibergamo.it/acirally/ra...2/iscritti.pdf

Perico in front of Oldrati and Paccagnela after 3 stages ;) note the "new WRCs" are a bit behind the older(Longhi in Mini, Cortinovis in Fiesta)
Entrylist Rally della Marca(TRA)held this coming week-end ;)

Luca Cantamessa back to competition this week-end at Rally Copa d'Oro at the wheels of an Abarth Grande S2000, same for Andrea Torlasco, same rally but in a 207 ;)
Very good news for both drivers! Their place is on the stages! :)Quote:

I've just read that too: some damages on the safety car or something like this :mark:
Ucci 32" faster than Travaglia on the 24km long SS2
Let's see what Scandola will do...
Edit: Scandola 11" slower ;)
Good first stage for Albertini(4th fastest)
Pajunen just in front of Campedelli on SS1(4" gap)
fantastic stage for Pajunen with the little twingo r2.... he said that he had do slowdown in some parts due to overheating... and he was...3.2 sec. faster than campedelli...really amazing
But Campedelli: in problems with brakes :s
Puncture for Travaglia on SS4(rerun of the SS2) :(
..
Andreucci is using a different road ?????
Amazing that Pajunen has a 9" advantage over Campedelli after leg one Rally San Crispino
Today Paolo Andreucci is absolutely NO MATCH for anyone at the San Crispino, starting by Umberto Scandola(+52"8 before two last stages) ;)
Ucci is the master of gravel in Italy :bounce:
Fight isn't over yet for third place though(6" between Albertini and Trentin)
As expected, Simone Campedelli changed set-up of his DS3 yesterday evening and is now doing fantastic times through leg 2(he's 12th overall) :bounce:
Pajunen still leading R2s ahead of Cunial and Nucita...
What is the reason of retirement of Travaglia? Again mechanical? :(
